Futurama Cancelled!…again!

First reported by EW.com, it appears that Futurama’s move to Comedy Central has been short lived.  They have decided to cancel fan-cult series after the second half of the 7th season is aired.

Fox aired Futurama for 5 seasons from 1999-2003.  Comedy Central revived the series (after it was resuscitated by the fans), bringing it back for seasons 6 & 7.

The last 13 episodes of season 7 begin June 19th, with the last episode of Futurama airing Sept 4th - the series finale, for now…

Check out The Amazing Spidey Before Everyone Else….errrrm….in the U.S!

If you’re not pumped for next week’s release of Webb’s The Amazing Spider-Man, then you’ll probably wont care about the next few things I have to say. However, if you are, then check this out!

The Amazing Spider-Man is being released a day early in select cities for a limited amount of — basically in which the group will inevitably consist of — die-hard fans! The nationwide release date for The Amazing Spider-Man is July 3rd, but a lucky few will get to see the much-anticipated-Spidey-reboot on Monday, the 2nd!

To see if you’re one of these lucky jerks (I say that with love, with a hint of jealousy) who live in one of these cities, click on the poster above or the link below!

No Man’s Land is Here!!!

No Man's Land for PlayStation Home

This brilliant third person shooter has revolutionized the types of games that are available in the PlayStation®Home platform and opens the Home fan’s mind to what may be possible in future PS Home games.

No Man's Land for PlayStation Home

Below, you’ll find a little taste to what you can expect to see in No Man’s Land, but take it from me — it doesn’t come close to doing the actual game justice. Every gamer out should fire up their PS3 right now, log into PlayStation@Home, and begin the tutorial of No Man’s Land. Oh….and prepare to have your mind blown!

Resident Evil: Retribution!

Just finished watching the live interview/webchat with Milla Jovovich (shotout to Doc for the heads up) and it was flippin’ damn cool! She answered some pretty great questions without giving too much away, but enough to tantalize your RE:R appetite. After the interview they debuted the 1st full-length trailer of RE:R to the audience.

AND….

Here is that very trailer for the fifth installment of the Resident Evil franchise, Resident Evil: Retribution, coming in 2D & 3D in the U.S. on September 14, 2012!

It looks to be really action-packed and I can’t wait to see it! I would love to hear what you think, so, as always, give a thumbs up if you like it & leave a comment below.

Enjoy!

Live Lockwood Publishing Q&A via Alphazone4.com

Ever wish you could get the chance to pick the minds behind some of the best products in Home? Well, thanks to alphazone4.com and the wonderful folks at Lockwood Publsihing, I did!

For those who’ve been living under a rock for the past…forever, Lockwood Publishing has brought the PlayStation®Home community greats — Sodium 1 & 2, the gift machine, and tons of more innovative furniture items, personal spaces, and clothing items! ….And coming soon…a brand new RPG, Merica: Fractured Realms!

So needless to say, Home fans had many questions for the kind reps of Lockwood Publishing at this alphazone4.com hosted event in the PlayStation®HomeE3 2012 booth. Not surprisingly, many people showed up to fire their questions at the Lockwood peeps, and I was one of them! Twenty minutes and 28 pictures of the chat log I took with my phone later, I figured I had enough great info for those who were unable to join the live Q&A.

Here are a few I thought would interest my fellow community members the most!!

___________

Q: What can community members see in the full game of Mercia that were not in the demo?

A: More weapons, more enemies, more everything!

Q: Speaking of enemies, I noticed in the Mercia demo that the enemy’s AI was pretty impressive and I’ve never seen anything like it in Home before. Could you elaborate on how difficult it was to do that?

A: The AI is something that was really not on the [Home] platform before now. In fact, the devs at Lockwood Publishing had to create the code for the AI you experience in Mercia.

Q: Will there be dual wielding in Mercia?

A: You can have a bow or a sword+shield.

Q: Will we be seeing an axe in mercia?

A: Axe(s) - Yes!

Q: How long before we see another update at the Lockwood Showcase?

A The current showcase will be in for a few months, til’ the shadow egg is unlocked.

Q: What’s in the shadow egg?

A: It’s a secret :)

Q: What’s up with the: 999,999,999,999 count?

A: Ah, the community score count. :P The community egg score is an unknown number, not actually 1 trillion - a mystery number if you will. :)

Q: So what else is in the works?

A: At the moment. we are starting to work on Halloween stuff. We also have something good planned for later on this year. :) One thing we have been working on is more custom animation items. The first of these will be out in about 2 weeks.

Q: Blaster’s Paradise and the Silicon Lounge are great personal spaces! Are we going to see another LKWD personal space anytime soon?

A: Yes! :)

___________

Well, there you have it! A few questions and answers I hope you wanted to have asked and answered! Something I also think it is good to mention is that the folks at Lockwood were very interested in the idea of a water park - *fingers crossed*.

I’d like to personally thank the folks at Alphazone4 for hosting the event and huge thank you to the reps from Lockwood for their patience and answers at this live Q&A! Remember that you can follow Lockwood Publishing on twitter: @Lockwood_Ltd, keep up to date on the facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/LockwoodPublishing, or go to their website here: http://www.lockwoodpublishing.com/

If you’d like to ask your own questions, alphazone4.com will be hosting another live Q&A this coming Monday (the original event was rescheduled) in the E3 booth!

US Event: MONDAY June 11th - 14:00PM EDT / 11:00AM PDT (hosted by tjaneozyon)
